Bio:                  Jacqui has worked with C3 SYD for many years now as a Safe Church Advisor and she is on the team with C3 SYD Kids. C3 is lucky to have her.

There are many benefits of studying the Bible & Leadership and Pastoral Care at C3 College. I’d like to draw your attention to 2 benefits that stand out for me: understanding the Bible and therefore ourselves, and understanding others. Both of these help us walk the Christian life alongside others.

I attended C3 College at various times throughout my years at C3 Church, both in day & evening classes, mostly in person and some online. I started with part-time New Testament studies in 1988, Leadership studies and Old Testament studies between 1990 and 1995, Pastoral Care Elective in 2014, in-depth New Testament studies with Katie Haldane in 2019, and the Book of Romans in 2021. These courses helped me learn about the Bible and its application for life, about how people think and how we can help one another, and about leading teams.

I now benefit from my studies when I bring the good news of Jesus to children in our community. The extra Bible knowledge is so helpful when I teach scripture classes in public schools, even though we use a set curriculum at school. The leadership skills I learned, I now implement as I lead our Scripture Teachers, and as I assist in leadership on the Team at C3 Kids.

The Biblical, Leadership and life skills I learned are great. Thanks, C3 College!
