What did you want to be when you grew up: A doctor

What brought you to C3 College: I did C3 College as a student in 1988, and out of that had gone to NY in 1989 on a church plant. I knew the season was over at the beginning of 2003. So I packed up my life, said goodbye to people who I still love and came home with no job and no real clue what I was going to do, just a God sense of a new season and another opportunity to walk on water. Because I am a very social person, I stopped, on the way to Sydney, to go to a wedding at Lake Tahoe and I kid you not, as soon as I arrived in Tahoe I got a message that Ps Mark Kelsey wanted to talk to me. I called Australia - he chatted to me about a job at the College. While everyone else was in the pool at the hotel, I was filling out job applications and doing personality tests and the rest is history. I have been at the College ever since. Little did I know that it would fulfil something God had spoken to me years before "Train Leaders" - and so that’s what I do.

What are you best known for at C3 College: Consistency and I hope kindness

If you had a superpower what would it be: Reading people's minds

What do you love about your position on staff: Love the College team - amazing hard-working, brilliant, passionate people. Love the privilege of watching the Holy Spirit transform students’ lives. Love staying connected to the Alumni and being part of their lives. I believe in the C3 College journey.

Why do you think people should study with C3: Because something very special happens here which is beyond the learning, beyond the skills gained, beyond the great friendships, beyond the fun - although all those things happen- if I were C.S Lewis or JR Tolkien I would call it magic. It is the fact that people are safe to encounter the living God in a unique way which, if they allow it, will allow them to die to themselves and follow Christ wholeheartedly - wherever He takes them; to the business, to the hospital, to the classroom, to the stage, to the studio or to the pulpit. C3 College will also equip them to stand in the places where they are called with solid foundations and strength of character.
