What did you want to be when you grew up: A rock star

What brought you to C3 College: I failed at being a rock star?.... nah. I enjoyed 20 years as the music director in our church but then felt a natural progression to stop doing that and start mentoring and teaching people what I had learned over the course of my years in creative ministry and leadership. Also, I was asked by college to come and oversee the school music and worship...

Where can you usually be found on campus and off: Good question. It's either at the staff kitchen on campus making coffee and off campus its usually in the kitchen at my home making coffee. I love being in the class room on campus! That's where I am usually found, teaching and lecturing or meeting 'one on one' with people in my office where great conversation and connections take place.

Off campus, you can usually find me in my happy place... I love being at home where I can be found playing my guitar in the garage or pottering around the house most days.

What are you best known for at C3 College: Ministering in the spirit in either prayer times, lectures or worship classes.

If you had a superpower what would it be: Time travel

What do you love about your teaching or position on staff: I love our the team and working with them all but I also love the autonomy and the independence that my role affords me, There is a great freedom that I have to follow my intuition and to be confident in the decisions I make, the approach I take to teach and my interpretation of what the Holy spirit is saying in any given situation. It's amazing. That being said, this allows me to teach on subjects that have a strong emphasis on improvisation, spontaneous communication, creativity and anything with a prophetic thread.

Why do you think people should come to C3: Where should I start??? Oh I dunno know... maybe because the global education system is broken? I believe our environment is one of love and acceptance, where even though we are all broken (lecturers included) we have a deep desire to foster a healthy and safe environment where students can flourish on their discipleship pathway and know that they can grow into the image of Christ while preserving their authentic self and develop the wisdom to integrate the two. How's that?\
